For me, Spring is finally here! Farmers’ Markets across the region are up and running, featuring fresh, local foods. The 2012 Doylestown Farmers’ Market kicked off this past Saturday, April 21st.
The market, now in its 37th year, was packed and full of great energy as folks shopped for locally grown seasonal produce, cheeses, meats and more. I picked up some beautiful red leaf lettuce for a Spring salad. Interested in joining a local CSA? CSA (community supported agriculture) shares are still available from Myerov Family Farm with pick up at the Doylestown Farmers’ Market.
The Doylestown Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday from the 3rd Saturday in April to the Saturday before Thanksgiving at West State and Hamilton Avenue, Doylestown, PA. Time: 7:00 a.m. to Noon. Learn more at Buckingham Township PA Civic Association
